ABOUT THE SHOW
Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience is an unforgettable journey that places the audience in the heart of the experience. Created by brothers Billy, Matthew and Ryan McGuigan, the show lets the audience choose the entire setlist. Before each performance, audience members fill out request cards with their favorite Beatles song and the reason behind their choice. Minutes before showtime, these cards are collected, and a unique setlist is crafted based on the audience’s selections.

Throughout the performance, the McGuigan brothers and their band blend the audience’s personal stories with their own memories of growing up listening to The Beatles, creating a one-of-a-kind show that changes with every performance. This interactive format allows the audience to relive their memories through the timeless music of The Beatles, making each night a deeply personal and emotional experience.

“Foot-stomping, clapping in unison, singing along and outright screaming from the audience”

David Williams, Omaha City Weekly

In 1996, Billy, Ryan and Matthew McGuigan were just 21, 18 and 15 years old when their father, William McGuigan, passed away after a courageous battle with leukemia. William “Bill” McGuigan, a Tech Sergeant in the United States Air Force, was a dedicated father with an immense love for The Beatles. Unable to afford many luxuries, he chose to stay home and share his passion for The Beatles’ music with his sons.

This love for The Beatles would become one of the greatest gifts Bill passed down to his children. Today, the McGuigan brothers honor their father’s memory with Yesterday and Today, a heartfelt tribute that allows them to share their love of The Beatles while connecting with audiences in a deeply personal way.  Each night, the songs, stories and faces change, but the bond between the McGuigan’s and their audience remains, rooted in a shared love for music and cherished memories.
